Based in the historic British town of Tunbridge Wells, The Inside Story was launched in 2016 and has rapidly grown to become one of the most influential PR and marketing agencies within the global music, entertainment technology, broadcast and professional audio sectors.

The Inside Story is shaped around the belief that at their heart, strong brands have powerful stories to tell, while the core of effective marketing is knowing how to make the telling of those stories compelling. The philosophy took root for our founder, Barney Jameson, over the course of many years of PR and journalism, as he owned, published and edited international music and audio technology magazines.

What began with one man swiftly grew into a team of dedicated, gifted creatives, each of whom is a leader in their respective fields. While we maintain an extended family of freelance contributors, The Inside Story benefits enormously from the strength its of in-house talent.
