The Inside Story Americas launches

Ahead of our tenth year in business, The Inside Story has acquired Get It In Writing, the highly influential US-based PR agency led by industry veteran Daniel Liston Keller. The result is The Inside Story Americas, a wholly owned subsidiary which will be based in Las Vegas and serve the broader Americas region including the United States, Canada and LATAM.

Like The Inside Story, The Inside Story Americas will offer a full suite of marketing services. Daniel will serve the new company as President while Barney Jameson, founder of The Inside Story, will be CEO.

Few industry marketers have achieved the scale of success and renown of Daniel Liston Keller. Over the course of 23 years, Get It In Writing has been instrumental in dozens of industry-shaping branding and product campaigns within professional audio, MI and AV. Meanwhile, Daniel’s reputation as a deeply influential industry figure has led him to the position of Executive Chair of the Audio Engineering Society in Los Angeles. He is also the co-founder of the Artist Brain Collective and moderates industry-focused panels at the NAMM Show, SXSW, and other industry gatherings. However, he is perhaps now best known as the host of the immensely popular video podcast Insights In Sound.

“The Inside Story has always been a global agency but there comes a point when it’s time for boots on the ground and I think we’re incredibly fortunate to have Daniel on board to spearhead our US operation,” said Barney. “Daniel’s legacy is beyond question, from Get It In Writing to his role with the AES, his advocacy work with Artist Brain Collective and now the popularity of Insights In Sound. He’s a great marketer and I can’t wait to build The Inside Story Americas with him.”

Daniel added, “I’ve known Barney for a great many years and have watched him build The Inside Story into a powerhouse agency with international perspective and an impressive and diversely talented team.
