HK Audio’s deployment for Stichijos 2: Pasadoblis at Lithuania’s Žalgirio Arena marked the largest COSMO system deployment in the brand’s history. Delivered by rental and production specialist Garsas LT, the project transformed the Baltic region’s largest multi-functional arena into a fully realised ice performance environment, combining figure skating, dance, immersive staging and large-scale visual design.
With a 20,000-capacity venue, a demanding installation schedule and a technically complex 360° setup, the project represented a major milestone for HK Audio — not just from a sound reinforcement perspective, but as a showcase of the COSMO system operating at arena scale.
TIS was brought on-site to capture and communicate the story behind the production in a way that felt human, immersive and technically credible. While the scale of the deployment was impressive in itself, much of the real achievement was happening behind the scenes — during overnight rigging sessions, system tuning, ice preparation and the constant coordination between multiple teams working under pressure.
The brief was to document not only the final show, but the transformation of the arena itself, translating a highly technical production into engaging content that could work across press, editorial, web and social media. This meant balancing the engineering side of the story with the atmosphere, emotion and visual spectacle of the production itself.
To fully capture the scale of the build, TIS embedded itself within the production several days before the show itself, documenting the transition from a live concert setup to a full ice performance environment. This approach allowed the team to follow the complete process in real time — from flown loudspeaker installation and overnight rigging through to final rehearsals and performance day.
Working closely with HK Audio, Garsas LT and the wider production team, TIS conducted interviews with engineers, technicians and project partners to uncover the challenges behind the deployment, including the need for consistent coverage across a 360° audience layout and the unique demands that ice-based performances place on audio systems.
Alongside a manufacturer-focused press release and detailed technical case study, TIS also produced a long-form editorial feature centred around the human side of the production — highlighting the pressure, collaboration and problem-solving that audiences rarely get to see. Photography, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage were captured throughout the week to create a cohesive bank of content that could be adapted across multiple platforms.
The final campaign positioned HK Audio at the centre of one of the region’s most ambitious live productions, helping communicate not only the scale of the COSMO deployment, but the expertise and collaboration required to deliver it successfully.
A key part of the project was the final video content produced by TIS, which captured the atmosphere and intensity of the production from setup through to performance night. Combining sweeping arena shots, behind-the-scenes build footage and moments from the final show itself, the video highlighted both the technical achievement behind the deployment and the artistry of the performance. From the scale of the rigging operation to the elegance of the skating, lighting and staging, the finished piece showcased the beauty, precision and emotion of the production in a way that resonated far beyond the arena itself.
